Sponsor Policy

Defying Disaster™ is seeking sponsorships from relevant organizations, manufacturers, and others dedicated to providing beneficial health and safety information to the public. 

In rare instances, we may allow third parties to provide funding to independently create information about certain topics within a specified health or safety category.

We will always label content that is not Defying Disaster’s™ content as “Sponsored”, “From Our Sponsor” or “In Collaboration With Our Sponsor”.  Sponsored content is subject to Defying Disaster’s™ Advertising Policy. The Sponsor is responsible for the accuracy and objectivity of their content. Defying Disaster™ takes steps to help ensure that you understand there is a difference between content from our Sponsors and original Defying Disaster™ content.

Within the sponsor’s content, there may be links to the sponsor’s web site. When links to the sponsor’s web site are included in the content, Defying Disaster™ takes meaningful steps to help make sure you know that you are visiting another web site. We describe this in more detail in the Defying Disaster™ Privacy Policy.

The sponsored content carries the copyright of the named sponsor or the rightful copyright owner.

The sponsored content includes a descriptive line at the end of the content noting that Defying Disaster™ does not endorse any specific product, service, or treatment.
