The Game

Can a game that teaches a deadly serious topic be fun to play? Unequivocally yes, if the game is Defying Disaster™. In this real-life simulation, players are thrust into an increasingly treacherous world that demands knowledge and skills they don’t yet possess. Their cash, supplies and even their health, are soon depleted. Survival is at stake.

The Story

A major disaster has struck your town. All around you, people are getting sick, injured and dying.  Doctors and medicines are in short supply. Groceries, gas, and even clean water are running out. There is no electricity. Crime is rampant. You’re afraid for your life—and the lives of your loved ones.

Would you know how to survive?

After playing Defying Disaster™, it’s much more likely you will. Defying Disaster™ is a series of educational games that simulate real-life catastrophes. While playing, you’ll learn how to protect yourself and the people you care about during serious disasters such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, pandemics, terrorist attacks, nuclear incidents and electrical grid failures.

Defying Disaster™ isn’t just a game. It’s a simulation that lets you experience real-life situations and teaches real survival skills. So that when disaster actually strikes, you’ll know what to expect and how to respond. The topic is deadly serious yet Defying Disaster™ games manage to take much of the fear out of disaster and replace it with awareness, facts, fun, and a sense of empowerment.
